5 Green Wellness | Green Juice Recipe

Green Juice Recipe | Basil

Green Juice

1/2 Bunch of Dandelion Greens

3-4 Swiss Chard Leaves

1 Head of Celery

1C of Basil


Knob Ginger

2 Apples

1 Lime (without peel)

Optional Boost: Tbs Spirulina


Remove basil leaves from stem. Discard stem or compost.

Process all ingredients except spirulina in a juicer.

Add tablespoon of spirulina into your juice, shake or stir.

This green juice recipe offers many benefits for each system in the body, an overall wellness drink.



Beta-carotene, vitamin C, vitamin K, vitamin E, folate, choline, calcium, magnesium, manganese, phosphorus, potassium, sodium, iron, vitamin B, protein


Dandelion Greens – Cleanse the liver by removing environmental toxins. Contains Calcium and potassium.

Basil – Protect at a cellular level; provides protection of cell structures and  chromosomes from radiation and free radicals (oxygen based damage).

Lime – Vitamin C boost.

Swiss Chard – Provides antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and detoxification support. Blood sugar regulating, excellent green for diabetics.

Celery – Helps reduce high blood pressure

Apple – Promotes cardiovascular and colon health

Turmeric – Reduces fat, purifies blood, and aids circulation. It benefits digestion, and can help rid the body of intestinal parasites.

Ginger – A warming herb excellent for circulation.

Spirulina – Rich in nutrients and high in protein. Maintains skin health and treats skin disorders.
