Last season we hosted our first Free 30 Day Juice Challenge with great success. Thousands of you joined along as we juiced each day for 30 days. The challenge is not a fast. You will simply be adding in at least one glass of juice to your current diet. You’re free to eat whatever you want, however, a whole foods diet is recommended over heavily processed and fried foods. The juice recipes created for this challenge will offer many health benefits, including weight loss,  anti-inflammation, increased energy and a natural boost to immunity. The recipes below are from our the first challenge.  We’ll be kicking off our next challenge very soon, be sure to join our newsletter to be notified once the challenge is scheduled to being.  Special note the juice recipes will generate 16-20 oz of juice.

Hey, too much sugar in all these. How about limiting the fruit in the recipies? Most people these days are prediabetic and insulin resistant as it is. I am on a three week green juice fast and it is extra important during a fast to keep carbos to a minimum to induce ketosis. I recommend 1/2 an apple, 1 beet or 2 carrots max per serving.

Thank you for sharing these great recipes! I'm new to juicing, except that I DO use a Nutri-Bullet to mix coconut milk with protein powder, green veggie powder, and I add apples, spinach and frozen berries to make shakes. CAN ANYONE ADVISE ME about whether it's OK to leave peelings on cucumbers, apples and other things? Thanks to the gentlemen who talked about oranges (to peel them) and lemons/limes (don't have to peel if organic). I prefer to use my Nutri-Bullet and NOT PEEL unless necessary. I get more nutrients and much less clean-up time than if I use a juicer (I DO have a juicer). Can any one tell me if my ideas are either wrong or OK? I'm new at this. Thank you!

To those who asked about whether you can only drink juice all day, the info at the beginning of this article says that you just add drinking the juice to your regular diet. She DOES recommend that you eat mainly a whole foods diet, but drinking the juice seems to be in addition to a good, healthy diet.

Radhika, once you heat it over 115 degrees it is no longer raw, if that is what you're going for. The enzymes can't survive microwave heat.

Hi Evelina. The recipes are made for a juicer. If you’re going to use a blender, you’ll need to reduce the amount of produce as well as add water to help it blend. Strain afterwards to have a smoother juice.

I'm beginning my first juice detox/fast/cleanse tomorrow. I made the mean green recipe (less kale and more spinach) for tomorrow. The only think that helps me tolerate kale is how it will benefit me nutritionally. Is there any way to "lighten" the bitterness of kale? I'll post your page on Fb and later send you a blog that I started to record my journey.

You can, depending on the type of juicer you have will determine length of storage. More about juicers –> http://www.greenjuiceaday.com/best-juicers Centrifugal juicer can store up to 24 hours. Masticating juicers can store up to 3 days refrigerated. Make sure when storing your juices you fill the container as close to the top, leaving out as much air.
